Referral Policy for CPIN Members

1. Eligibility for Referrals:

  • Only active CPIN members may refer new applicants to the network.
  • Referrals must be individuals with whom the referrer has a substantive pre-existing relationship (e.g., family, friends, colleagues, business associates).

2. Prohibition on General Solicitation:

  • Members may not engage in public advertising, cold calling, mass emails, or social media promotions to attract new applicants.
  • Members may make social media posts to an existing private group of followers that is not open to the general public.
  • All referrals must come from direct, personal relationships.
  • Any violations of this policy may result in termination of membership.

3. Referral Verification & Acceptance:

  • Each referred applicant must complete the membership application and intake process.
  • CPIN reserves the right to review and approve all applications based on internal due diligence and compliance requirements.
  • The referrer will not receive credit for a referral if the applicant does not pass the qualification process.

4. Referral Program & Benefits:

  • Qualified referrals may contribute to a member’s standing in CPIN’s Residual Referral Program.
  • Referral-based benefits, if applicable, are only distributed when the referred member becomes an active, contributing participant in an investment club.

5. Compliance & Enforcement:

  • Members must adhere to all CPIN policies and applicable securities regulations.
  • Any member found violating referral guidelines, engaging in unauthorized solicitation, or misrepresenting CPIN’s investment structure may have their membership revoked.

6. Rules for Posting to a Private Group of Followers Regarding CPIN and Investment Opportunities:

  • Posts must not include any direct offers to buy or sell securities.
  • Do not discuss specific investment terms, returns, or financial projections.
  • Avoid phrases like “investment opportunity,” “private placement,” “secure high returns,” or similar terms that suggest a securities offering.
  • Posts should be educational in nature, such as discussing general investment principles, financial literacy, and economic empowerment through Cooperative Group Economics.
  • Discussions should focus on CPIN as an investment network and community rather than on specific deals or returns.
  • Do not post messages that could be interpreted as an attempt to attract new investors.
  • Do not use language that implies open access, such as “Anyone can join” or “Sign up now for exclusive deals.”
  • All posts should include a disclaimer stating that CPIN is an invitation-only network and that general solicitation is prohibited. Example Disclaimer:
  • “The Closed Private Investment Network (CPIN) is an exclusive, invitation-only membership platform. This is not an offer to buy or sell securities. Any investment opportunities are only available to approved members after a substantive pre-existing relationship has been established. General solicitation is prohibited.”
  • If discussing CPIN’s referral program, reiterate that members may only refer individuals they personally know and have a substantive relationship with.

By referring others to CPIN, you agree to abide by this Referral Policy and uphold the integrity of our invitation-only investment network.
